Car wash database
The database was designed with the intention to eliminate the mess and confusion of the current paper system that the company currently has in place. The employee's main information is stored in the Employee table and from there employees are able to fill out the different forms, just like they would on paper. The forms that are included in the database are Time Off Requests, Clothing Order Forms, Schedule Change Requests, Hours Worked and finally Commission and Tips. Now, rather than writing all of the information on the clipboards, employees will be able to seamlessly put all of their requests and information in without the risk of it getting lost or damaged.
Upper level management will also benefit from the system in the way that rather than trying to keep track of the hundreds of papers across the location, they can easily print reports and information so tasks like ordering clothing and sending information to the headquarters is much less of a hassle. Now, if anything happens to be damaged, there is always a backup from the night before and the company will not be off track for long.
